+This repo contains scripts for creating standalone apps from netpd for Windows
+and macOS.
+
+What does it do?
+----------------
+
+For macOS, a netpd.app will be created from an unsigned build of Pd.app. The
+patches and abstraction are included in the app and pd-gui.tcl is modified
+to automatically open netpd/main.pd at app launch. The Icon files (.icns) are
+replaced.
+
+For Windows, netpd and Pd are bundled in a single distributable directory. A batch
+file converted to an exe file launches Pd with the flags to load netpd/main.pd.
+Also, the exe file includes custom icon.
+
